Faculty Who Challenge and Inspire
Ajay Sajnani, CEO and co-founder of Dubai-based Interiors.R.US., has worked in interior design and production for the past 15 years. He came to the Owner/President Management (OPM) program to take his company to the next level.
"I felt like the company needed a push in order to reach the A league," he explains.
The faculty in OPM gave him that push, challenging him as a student while inspiring him as an entrepreneur. "The energy of the professors is just outstanding," Sajnani says. "The knowledge and experience that they offer is priceless. Professor Lynda Applegate's energy, thought process, teaching, and compassion towards students is something I've never seen before."
Sajnani found his fellow program participants equally impressive, both in terms of their professional accomplishments and geographic diversity. "It's like a global melting pot—you meet someone from Ecuador, Venezuela, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Australia," he notes.
The bonds that formed between participants enhanced Sajnani's learning experience."The sense of community that develops between people in the program is just amazing," he explains. "There is great trust within the OPM community, and I feel that those relationships will last forever."
While keeping those relationships strong, Sajnani plans to continue investing in his professional development. "It is important to keep learning," he explains. "It's not about reaching a certain target and objective. Learning is a journey, and there is no limit to it."
