Q. How does the Disruptive Innovation program and HBX: Disruptive Strategy with Clayton Christensen bundle work?
If you purchase the Disruptive Innovation and HBX: Disruptive Strategy with Clayton Christensen bundle, you will receive five HBX licenses, which can be used for anyone on your team. The individual who is participating in Disruptive Innovation can, but does not have to, use one of the five licenses. Additional seats in this HBX course may also be purchased for $1,700 per person.
Q. When will the HBX course Disruptive Strategy with Clayton Christensen begin?
Disruptive Strategy begins on a rolling basis. We will work with you to schedule a start date that meets your organization's needs. However, if you purchased the bundle, your organization must begin the HBX online course no later than 12 months after completing the Disruptive Innovation program.
Q. How long is the course?
Disruptive Strategy varies in length. Most groups complete the program in 5-10 weeks.
Q. How large can the cohort be?
Each cohort can accommodate anywhere from 5 to 75 participants. And we can run multiple cohorts simultaneously – for example, 300 participants in three or more cohorts – dramatically expanding our capacity and ability to scale the learning across your organization.
Q. Will the cohort include participants from other organizations?
No. To ensure that your group can speak freely about organizational issues that may be sensitive or confidential in nature, each cohort is solely composed of participants from your organization. By doing so, we can also tailor programs to fit your team's schedule and address specific organizational challenges.
Q. How does the Disruptive Innovation program coordinate with the HBX online course, Disruptive Strategy with Clayton Christensen?
The Disruptive Strategy with Clayton Christensen course features many of the same principles discussed in the Disruptive Innovation program. With a shared base of knowledge, you and your colleagues will be better equipped to implement the innovative growth solutions pioneered by world-renowned strategist Clayton Christensen.
Q. Does the individual who attends the Disruptive Innovation program facilitate the HBX online course?
Depending upon your organizational structure, the Disruptive Innovation program attendee may be more or less involved with the HBX online course. The HBX online course may be handled in one of two ways:
- The program attendee becomes the HBX program champion. In this role, he or she organizes a group of five or more colleagues and spearheads the HBX online course. By doing so, the team is able to align their knowledge and create a plan for implementing meaningful organizational change.
- The organization's Leadership and Development department becomes the HBX program champion.
