If you are planning to travel by air, you will be flying into Logan International Airport (code BOS). Most major airlines service Logan.

Harvard Business School is a short taxi ride from the airport. Please allow a minimum of one hour to retrieve your luggage and travel to Harvard Business School from Logan Airport.

When you arrive in Boston, direct your taxi or car/rideshare service to Harvard Business School. Enter campus through the One Western Avenue/Boston entrance (next to the parking garage on the southeast corner of campus). Have your driver use the center lane (To HBS Campus) and stop at the guard booth for campus access and directions to Chao Center. Do not allow your driver to drop you anywhere else.

If driving, follow the instructions above; at check-in, you will need to get a parking permit before parking in the garage. When using a GPS device, enter 111 Western Avenue, Boston, MA 02163 as the destination address.

Metro Cab can be reached at +1.617.254.6060. Taxis are allowed on campus only for your arrival and departure. Otherwise, your taxi will pick you up at the taxi stand near the guard booth.

When calling a taxi for your departure (only Metro Cab is allowed on campus), use "Harvard Business School/One Western Avenue/Chao Center" as the pick-up address; all other times, use Harvard Business School/One Western Avenue/Taxi Stand as the address. You can also walk down to the taxi stand and hail a taxi there if one is available.

Rideshare services are allowed on campus only for your arrival. At all other times (including your departure), your driver will pick you up/drop you off in the area opposite the taxi stand. The address to use for rideshare services is 111 Western Avenue, Boston, MA 02163.

Public transportation

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, often referred to as the MBTA or the T, is the public operator of most bus, subway, commuter rail, and ferry routes in the Greater Boston Area. You can find maps and directions on the MBTA website.

Taxi & Rideshare service

Metro Cab can be reached at +1.617.254.6060. Taxis are allowed on campus only for your arrival and departure. Otherwise, your taxi will pick you up at the taxi stand near the guard booth.

When calling a taxi for your departure (only Metro Cab is allowed on campus), use "Harvard Business School/One Western Avenue/Chao Center" as the pick-up address; all other times, use Harvard Business School/One Western Avenue/Taxi Stand as the address. You can also walk down to the taxi stand and hail a taxi there if one is available.

Rideshare services are allowed on campus only for your arrival. At all other times (including your departure), your driver will pick you up/drop you off in the area opposite the taxi stand. The address to use for rideshare services is 111 Western Avenue, Boston, MA 02163.

South Station is the closest train station to our campus. Located at Summer Street and Atlantic Avenue in Boston, it is approximately 5 miles from Harvard Business School. Services include: Acela Express (Amtrak), Lakeshore Limited, and Northeast Regional – open 24 hours daily.
