Safety & Security

Safety and security are top priorities at Harvard Business School. We ask that you review both the Safety and Security Information sheet posted at your bedroom desk and the Emergency Evacuation Information located on the back of your bedroom door, and familiarize yourself with the closest exit and emergency evacuation meeting area.

HBS is located in an urban setting and we remind you to take precautions to protect yourself and your property. Be aware of your surroundings when walking through campus and the surrounding community, and travel in groups whenever possible after dark. Remember to take proper precautions to protect your valuables; do not leave valuables unattended in the classroom or any other public area at any time. HBS is not responsible for any loss of personal property. Additional safety tips from the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) can be found here.
