What to bringWhat to bring
- Personal Technology: Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop or other device for program activities. We recommend a device that supports Chrome, Firefox, and/or Safari web browsers. Our facilities offer high-speed internet, with wired and wireless access and a shared printing resource. Please remember to bring a voltage adapter if you are from outside the United States.
- Phones: Landline phones are provided in each bedroom on the HBS campus and in each hotel room at programs located outside of the United States.
- Money: You may wish to exchange currency before arriving to cover ground transportation costs from the nearest airport. Automated teller machines (ATM) are available on campus. For programs taking place at locations outside of the United States, currency exchange is available either at the hotel or a nearby ATM.
- Clothing: Weather conditions will vary depending on season and location, but we generally advise bringing business casual clothing that can be easily layered. Examples include collared shirts, khakis, blazers, and sweaters.

During most HBS Executive Education programs, you'll have the privilege of living on campus alongside your fellow participants. Situated in the historic Boston-Cambridge area, the Executive Education Complex is just a short walk from Harvard University and features first-class living arrangements, a celebrated library, and state-of-the-art fitness and recreational facilities.
For participants attending programs at locations outside of the United States, accommodations are provided in world-class hotels either in, or within walking distance, of the same facility in which your classes take place. Services and amenities vary by hotel.
Community valuesCommunity values
The transformational experience HBS Executive Education is known for can only happen in an environment of trust and mutual respect, in a place that encourages active participation and the open exchange of ideas. To that end, our community values, which help ensure that all participants benefit from our immersive learning environment, are built on the following key tenets:
- Respect for the rights, differences, and dignity of others.
- Honesty and integrity in dealing with all members of the community.
- Accountability for personal behavior.
ImmunizationsImmunizations
To ensure the safety and well-being of our entire campus community, the State of Massachusetts requires that educational visitors are immunized against common contagious illnesses. Please ensure that your immunizations are up to date prior to arrival on campus.
Visas
As a program participant, you are responsible for securing the appropriate visas and travel documents you need to travel to the country in which your program is located. Visit our FAQs for more information.
