Why did you choose to attend this program, and how would you describe the program's value to someone considering it?
I chose to attend this program because I was looking for course materials and content focused on real family office issues. The compact schedule and class size were also appealing to me.
We have incorporated the program into a mandatory attendance requirement for our family office members. The program addresses issues and experiences which are directly felt by each family office, including generational transitions. Regardless of geographic location or family size, the issues are remarkably the same. The course helps normalize making decisions on issues based on facts rather than emotions.
How did the faculty contribute to your learning experience?
The faculty is simply incredible. Their passion for the course creates the engagement needed among the diverse class and thus is the catalyst for learning.
Since leaving the program, we have reconsidered some of our decisions and surely re-evaluated the timing of certain transitions.
What surprised you most about the experience, and is there anything else you'd like to share?
The range of experience and knowledge on the subject within the classroom as well as the desire to learn surprised me. It was all rather stimulating.
