In 1945, HBS launched its first Executive Education program, the Advanced Management Program (AMP), to a group of 60 executives and veterans. Since then, we have helped business leaders from a diverse mix of backgrounds, industries, and countries advance their skills, careers, and companies. We also have set the standard for executive training, providing a blueprint for management courses at institutions around the world.
Since 1945, more than 175,000 business leaders from over 200 countries have attended our programs, a testament to the global reach and influence of Executive Education. Today, we offer over 160 programs around the world that attract more than 9,000 executives each year.
Our Global Footprint
In 1956, AMP was held internationally for the first time at Baguio in the Philippines. Many more international programs would follow in response to demand from local business leaders. Over the course of our history, we've held Executive Education programs in more than 20 countries.
Today, we offer more than 80 open-enrollment programs primarily at these core locations: HBS campus, China, India, and Europe.
