Private Equity and Venture Capital – Asia

This program is taught in both English and Chinese with translation. Private Equity and Venture Capital also is offered in English on the HBS Campus.

In Asia and other emerging markets, growth opportunities have become more elusive. As investors seek opportunities in these regions, they are confronted with a global recession, a credit crisis around the world, and breakdown of the international financial system. In Private Equity and Venture Capital—Asia, an Executive Education program offered jointly by Harvard Business School (HBS) and the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University (Tsinghua SEM), you will master the innovative approaches required to manage through the downturn and emerge better equipped to thrive in a recovering economy in Asia and beyond.

What You Can Expect
In this three-day program, you will have the opportunity to step back from your daily responsibilities to explore the inner workings of private equity and venture capital investing. In addition to honing your analytical and decision-making skills, you will learn how to formulate a rational, profitable investment strategy that drives value in Asia and other emerging markets.
