Brazil's economy has grown 500 percent in little more than a decade. While growth has slowed recently, many still believe that Brazil is on its way to becoming a global superpower. Accordingly, we have seen increased interest among business owners and investors in exploring and better understanding the opportunities and challenges of doing business in Brazil.
Designed for Owner/President Management (OPM) program alumni and current participants, this HBS Executive Education program offers access to the latest faculty research and thinking on doing business in Brazil. You'll gain the critical perspective you need to evaluate Brazilian opportunities in a global context and to make key decisions about whether to enter Brazilian markets or expand your current Brazilian operations.
Through interactive lectures by full-time HBS faculty, dynamic peer discussions, panel discussions, and workshops with Brazilian business leaders, you will examine the issues critical to assessing opportunities, navigating the regulatory and financial environment, analyzing consumer and product markets, and designing strategies for entry and growth in Brazil.
This unique program is limited to current participants and alumni of the Owner/President Management (OPM) program. It is appropriate for executives from a wide range of industries, countries, and business types that want to learn more about Brazil's business environment. As in the OPM program, the diversity of the group will create a highly stimulating exchange of ideas, as well as opportunities to expand your professional network.
