Who Is Right for the Program
Growing a Professional Service Firm—China is intended for senior executives who are company leaders or practice leaders in professional service companies in China. It is also appropriate for leaders of business-to-business service arms in companies offering solutions composed of both products and services. Companies can include private or state-owned firms operating in China and looking to expand as well as multinational or global firms who want to increase their presence in China.
Because different types of service firms face similar challenges, the program is appropriate for participants in a range of industries including consulting, legal, accounting, financial, architecture and engineering, marketing and advertising, public relations, venture capital, investment banking, computer software development, technology systems integration, telecommunications, and others. Typical participant titles include:
- Chief executive officer
- Executive vice president
- Partner
- Principal
- Managing director
- Country, division, or regional manager
- Practice leader
This program meets the needs of individuals or teams. When multiple executives from one company attend, the management team can more quickly take advantage of shared concepts and frameworks to implement strategies and disseminate best practices throughout the organization.
Language
To ensure the most comprehensive learning experience, Growing a Professional Service Firm—China is taught in both English and Chinese with translation. Participants will preselect either Chinese or English for their classroom materials. When forming discussion groups, program administrators consider each executive's language capabilities to ensure optimal exchange of ideas within the group.
