For the second time, Harvard Business School (HBS) is bringing its renowned Agribusiness Seminar to Latin America, which has evolved to become the engine for global food security. A more intimate version of the annual flagship session in Boston, this São Paulo-based program helps you enhance your leadership capabilities and effectiveness in an industry characterized by increased complexity, greater uncertainty, and constant change.

What You Can Expect
Since its inaugural session in 1961, the Agribusiness Seminar at Harvard Business School (HBS) has provided leaders from across the industry with a unique forum for assessing emerging trends, understanding best management practices, and exploring promising new business strategies. Learning alongside peers from every sector of the industry, you'll gain a full-chain, cross-industry perspective, along with insight into the global marketplace and the political and economic environment. Returning to your organization, you will be better equipped to respond to market shifts, develop winning long-range strategies, improve the way you manage risk, and identify top opportunities.

Your Course of Study
Conducted in English, this leadership development program combines a structured learning environment with the opportunity to share ideas with peers from around the globe and, in turn, improve your ability to make decisions and lead your organization. Over four days, you will step back from day-to-day responsibilities to explore topics ranging from risk management to production to innovation. You will gain a better understanding of influential trends and learn how to generate ideas that drive both immediate and long-term success.

Who Is Right for the Program
Participants will include thought leaders and key decision makers in the global food and agribusiness industry.

The Agribusiness Seminar also is offered on the HBS Campus from January 8 to 11, 2012.
