Connecting to the Shared Living Group Printers
Each Living Group within your Executive Education residence has a shared printing resource for your convenience. This shared printer resource is located in the common area of your Living Group. The computer in each bedroom is already configured to print to the appropriate device.
If you need printing assistance please contact EETS at 495-8835 or email to eets@hbs.edu.
How to Print Single or Double Sided Pages
In our efforts to conserve paper we have set each resource to print double-sided by default. We expect this setting to meet the majority of your printing needs. However, there may be situations where single-sided output is required. Printing single-sided is a simple process and has been outlined in detail below.
- When you select print you will be presented with a Print dialogue window. This window will look different depending on the program you are using. The examples below apply to Microsoft Office applications.
- Select Properties

- This will open the Printing Preferences window
- Select the Finishing tab at the top

- By default the Document Options is set to Print on both sides
- By unchecking this option you will be able to print single-sided pages
- Remember to re-check the box once you are finished printing to return to double-sided printing
