While You Are On Campus

> ATTIRE

Business casual attire is requested for classes and meals in the campus dining room during your program. Since dress codes and terminology vary widely amongst companies and countries, here are a few examples of what is considered business casual attire:

• Open-necked, collared shirts or blouses and sweaters
• Khakis or other pressed pants
• Leather or casual walking shoes

For dining out on Saturday or Sunday evenings, men may wish to bring a jacket and tie, and similarly appropriate attire for women, as some restaurants have a dress code. Participants who wish to participate in athletics should bring the appropriate attire.

This Boston Climate guide should help in planning your clothing needs.

> BILLING FOR SERVICES

At registration, you will be asked to fill out a credit card authorization form. This authorizes direct billing to your credit card for payment of domestic long-distance/international telephone calls, dry cleaning and/or catered food or beverage charges if you accumulate any during the program. The authorized vendors utilized to provide these services accept credit cards (American Express, MasterCard or VISA only) and cash for payment. Note that if you choose to pay with cash, correct change is highly encouraged as HBS cannot provide change for you.

> CLASS ATTENDANCE

Participants are admitted on the understanding with their management that they will be free from company duties during the full period of their program and that they will, therefore, devote their full time to the program. The faculty considers attendance by every participant at every class essential if the program is to make its maximum contribution to the individual and to the group. Accordingly, attendance at all classes, discussion groups and program events is required.

HBS reserves the right to ask any participant to withdraw who, in the opinion of the faculty, does not meet the required standards in regard to class attendance and participation in the work of the program, or whose personal demeanor is not consistent with the policies and Community Values of the School.
