Technology Enhanced Learning

HBS Executive Education action-learning programs are intended to be used in conjunction with select open enrollment and custom programs. Featuring faculty presentations, video case studies, practical frameworks, and hands-on exercises, these CD-ROM-based programs enhance the curricula of the programs in which they are being used. Either in advance or during the actual classroom experience, action-learning programs serve as important tools to illustrate or reinforce key concepts, as well as to create a common level of understanding among participating peers. The objective of these action-learning programs is to add significant value for both the participants and their sponsoring organizations by extending and deepening the face-to-face learning experience.

HBS Executive Education action-learning programs also play a valuable role as participants apply the concepts and approaches they learned on campus within their workplaces. Upon returning to their companies, participants essentially become teachers as they share their newfound knowledge and enlightened perspectives with others.
