We look for candidates who reflect a broad range of industries, functions, countries, and backgrounds that can enrich our learning experience; immersion in a diverse participant mix is an important part of every Executive Education program. Although there are no formal educational prerequisites, fluency in written and spoken English is required in order for participants to keep pace with assignments and classroom discussions.
Each Harvard Business School Executive Education program has its own set of admissions criteria. To download a Harvard Business School application in PDF format, visit the program page of interest. If you prefer that an application be sent to you, please contact Client Services.
HBS Executive Education offers only non-degree programs. Certificates of attendance are awarded to participants upon completion of the program. However, participants who attend Executive Education's extended-length programs—the Advanced Management Program, the General Management Program, and the Owner/President Management program—receive Harvard alumni/ae status and benefits.
